Independent bakery chain to open new Teddington High Street shop next month

An independent bakery chain is set to open a new branch on Teddington's High Street next month (November), just a few months after it closed its former High Street venue located metres away.
Cavan Bakery, which was located at 25 High Street for 17 years, closed that branch back in April due to renewal difficulties with the building's landlord.
However, the bakery's Managing Director, Nicky Taylor, said at the time that the company was hoping to find an alternative location on High Street.

And the company succeeded, as it is now renovating the site of the former Featherstone Leigh offices.
Speaking about the new venue, Cavan Bakery said: "Teddington, we're back!
"We're ready to re-enter Teddington High Street with our full range of baked goods, indoor seating and our brand new look and feel.
"Crusty sourdough bread fresh from the oven, buttery pastries, and sweet treats you won't be able to resist! Grab a loaf for home or pull up a seat and treat yourself.
"Opening in November. We can't wait to welcome you in!
"Love. Every. Crumb."
In preparation for the new opening, Cavan Bakery is recruiting a full-time Retail Manager and full and part-time retail assistants for its new High Street branch.
Benefits of working for the chain include full training, Cycle2Work scheme, free bread and lunch on shift, and a 50 per cent discount in all stores.
More information about these job vacancies can be found on Cavan Bakery's website here.
The chain also has other shops on Teddington's Stanley Road and Broad Street as well as various branches across South West London.
