Holy Skies: A Teddington vicar is set to take on a parachute jump this month

In three weeks, on Friday, 30 May, Teddington's Daredevil Vicar, David Cloake, will parachute jump 12,000ft to raise money to build vital facilities for Teddington's much-loved community church.
It is a desperate fight against the clock to raise funds before planning permission runs out this year.
The intrepid vicar readily admits to being somewhat of a "thrill seeker", having bungee jumped and paraglided in preparation.
He said: "I'm prepared for everything… except the parachute not opening!"

You can sponsor Cloake and support this vital community project here.
Locals are also invited to join the family fun at the Parachute Watch Party at 5pm on Sunday, 8 June at St Mary's Parish Hall in Teddington.

Father David is trailblazing the final £350K fundraising need with this parachute jump - all to build vital facilities to support all generations in the community and to protect Teddington's cultural heritage.
