Harlequins women to start for the Red Roses in Six Nations
Four Quins women will start for England's Red Roses who take on Scotland in the first Six Nations game this weekend.
Forward Amy Cokayne plus the backs, Lucy Packer, Lagi Tuima and Abby Dow, will take to the field in the first game since the loss to New Zealand in the World Cup Final last November.
Sadly, the Harlequins lock Rosie Galligan has withdrawn from the squad having sustained an injury in training and she will miss the remainder of the tournament.
The game kicks off at 4.45pm in Newcastle on Saturday and will be broadcast live on BBC Two.
England and France are the favourites for the tournament and the two will battle is out at Twickenham on April 29 before what is hoped to be a world record crowd of more than 50,000.
Rugby fans across south west London, which is at the heart of women's and girl's rugby in England, are being urged to support the Red Roses at Twickenham.
The game at the weekend will be the last for 38-year-old inspirational captain Sarah Hunter, who has seen the Red Roses become a world force following the professionalisation of the women's game.
