Hampton Court Palace’s Tulip Festival to return next week
By Tilly O'Brien 24th Mar 2026
The much-loved Hampton Court Palace Tulip Festival is returning next week with tens of thousands of tulips and vibrant spring flowers in bloom.
Recognised as Britain's Largest and Greatest Tulip Heritage Garden at the World Tulip Summit in 2024, the festival continues to showcase the beauty, variety and craftsmanship of historic and contemporary planting across the palace gardens.
The festival will run from 10am – 5.30pm on Friday, 3 April.
The festival description says: "As you wander through the grounds, discover carefully planned spring planting, from bold tulip displays to other flowering bulbs that reflect the changing seasons.
"Take your time exploring the courtyards and admire blooming displays spilling from Tudor wine fountains and vintage horse carts, before heading to the Great Fountain to see the floating tulip bowls.
"Whether you're enjoying a peaceful escape or catching up with friends, there's no better way to welcome the warmer days ahead."
Hampton Court Palace said: "Tulip flowering periods are hard to predict and so are not guaranteed. Updates on flowering will be shared on social media and this web page."
Tickets are included in palace admission.
