Hampton Court Palace to launch its £1 ticket scheme for low-income families

From 21 October, up to six people per household can claim £1 tickets to explore the over 500-year-old palace. 

A statement from Hampton Court Palace said: "We want everyone to be able to enjoy a day out at Hampton Court Palace, and we know how hard things are for many people on low incomes right now." 

Day visits to Hampton Court Palace will be available to anyone in receipt of the following: 

  • Universal Credit 
  • Working Tax Credit 
  • Child Tax Credit 
  • Pension Credit 
  • Employment and Support Allowance 
  • Income Support 
  • Jobseeker's Allowance 

Visitors must bring documentation and additional identification to confirm the name on supporting documents. More details can be found here.  

On presentation of your £1 ticket at the palace, visitors can also receive 50% off food in the cafés (excluding alcohol and other selected items). 

For each adult meal purchased, children under 12 with the adult can eat for free from our Children's menu. 

Experience the world of the Tudor court and the legacy of Henry VIII's private and public dramas.

Admire the Great Hall and Tudor kitchens, and discover the spectacular baroque palace built for William III and Mary II.

Visitors can also explore Hampton Court Palace's outdoor spaces and 60 acres of magnificent gardens.
