While the gardens of Hampton Court Palace have been open for a few weeks the interior is finally being reopened.

Yes you can finally step inside the hallowed halls of the palace once more - starting from July 17th.

Historic Royal Palaces are reopening their iconic castles throughout July starting with The Tower of London on July 10th and Kensington Palace on July 30th.

The move comes as social distancing measures are officially relaxed to the one metre plus rule on Saturday.

Historic Royal Palaces CEO John Barnes said:

"Your safety remains our highest priority, so we will continue to limit the number of people visiting on any given day.

"You will need to pre-book tickets in advance which will be available every Monday.

"Re-opening the palaces is very positive news, but the costs associated with it are significant and we still urgently need your support.

"Visiting the palaces, buying or renewing a membership, purchasing something from our shops or cafes or making a donation are all ways you can help us to secure the charity's future.

"Thank you once again for your continued support, it means the world to us."
