FREE Teddington technology workshops available for those requiring support
Do you know someone who could benefit from help using their phone, laptop or tablet?
A local charity based in Teddington is offering free workshops for those in need of help when using their tech devices.
There is no doubt that living in a digital age has allowed us to strengthen our connectivity and accessibility to information, whether it be communicating with loved ones who are living oversees, viewing bank statements, filling out application forms or working from home.
However, the shift to a greater dependence on digital devices is one that is understandably not as straightforward for some, especially amongst the elder generation.
Richmond AID, based in Teddington on Waldegrave Road, are offering free sessions twice a week to help those requiring additional support. Tuesday classes are held at 1pm and Thursday classes at 11am.
All are welcome, and those interested are encouraged to get in touch at [email protected].
RichmondAID is a charity run by and for disabled people living in the borough of Richmond Thames and surrounding areas. The organisation supports people of all ages living with disabilities, including physical and sensory impairments, mental health issues and learning difficulties.
The charity aims to support disabled people to live independent lives and to ensure they have access to equal opportunities.
