F45 Teddington opened its doors to the Teddington community in June 2022 and has since been working tirelessly to improve people's fitness in a warm and welcoming environment whilst also building relationships with local organisations and sports clubs.

As with any turn of the year, goals and new year resolutions are set with fitness aspirations almost always featuring somewhere on the list.

F45 Teddington is eager to help locals throughout the borough meet and exceed set fitness targets and is currently offering two weeks of unlimited training, so residents are able to experience the range of resistance and cardio classes on offer.

Each day entails a varied workout session at the F45 studios with multiple trainers on hand to take part alongside members while providing morale and motivation throughout the class.

Working in pairs is often encouraged to help build relationships and classes are always concluded with high-fives all round.

Local resident Katie Mclaughlin told Nub News: "I signed up to F45 with the hope of re finding my fitness mojo! Three months later and I am the fittest and healthiest I have ever been.

"The team are amazing, so encouraging, knowledgeable and forever giving the class motivation. It's a true community gym and exactly the type of gym we need in Teddington!"

Community is what F45 Teddington is built on and the gym is always on the lookout to expand its family.

Phillip Bowhill, who has enjoyed the rewards of F45'S renowned fitness challenge, added: "F45 has motivated me to get fit – during their fitness challenge I was able to lose 10% of my bodyweight!

"Their staff are friendly, approachable and push me to achieve my goals. I enjoy training as part of a team and the classes fit in with my work schedule, keep me focused and are lots of fun. I would recommend this gym to everyone."

Despite F45 Teddington having already established a community within their studios, the gym is ambitious to continue to expand its reach and has been working alongside numerous local organisations and schools.

Bootcamps have been run at East Molesey Cricket Club and the gym has helped them raise funds to support the development of their women's and girl's cricket teams.

Sporting activities are frequently run at Collis Primary School in Teddington including tug of war at their summer's sports day and F45 is in close contact with local councillors to continue to explore innovative ways of making access to fitness accessible across the borough.

Beyond exercise, the community gym also played a crucial role in helping to finance last year's Christmas celebrations in Teddington. The annual event is a standout highlight in the town's calendar.

F45 Teddington is offering new members two weeks of unlimited training.

Commenting on what sets F45 apart from its competitors, a spokesperson for the international organisation, said: "Our workouts are not about mirrors, lights or followers – it's about what you do with your time, it's about how you feel when you're finished and who supported you along the way.

"F45 is all about group fitness but with the attention and effectiveness of a personal trainer. World class workouts that anyone of any age or fitness can participate in, who want to make a better version of themselves physically.

"A global gym made by the people in your local community. We are the workouts you've always wanted with the team you didn't know you needed."
