Dramatic rescue from the Thames

Emergency services were involved in a dramatic rescue from the Thames this afternoon.
Two people had to be pulled from the water with one person taken to hospital.
Ambulance and fire crews were seen at the bottom of River Lane, Petersham, near a slipway to the river.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.34pm today (28 October) to reports of two people in the River Thames, near Ham House in Richmond.
"We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
"We treated two people at the scene who had been rescued from the water. We took one person to hospital and discharged a second patient at the scene."
