The Pheasantry Cafe in Bushy Park has reopened today offering a 'reduced menu' of cold and hot food and operating within social distancing rules.
It was their first day back in operation today but from tomorrow the cafe hopes to open at 9.00am and close later in the afternoon, depending on demand.
Although Bushy Park is still closed to cars, hundreds of picnickers, cyclists and walkers are expected to take advantage of the sunny weather with temperatures of 22 degrees tomorrow (sunday) and getting even hotter next week.
The small kiosk near the Diana Fountain car park and Heron Pond has also opened today.

Deer safety
Unfortunately deer in Bushy Park have learned to approach people in search of food, especially in popular areas such as around the pond and car park. This has recently led to a number of dangerous incidents in which people have been charged by deer looking for food. Please remember that the deer in Bushy Park are wild animals so, for your own safety, please keep a distance of at least 50 metres and move away if you're approached.
If you need to report an incident concerning the deer, please contact the park office on 0300 061 2250.
