Councillors will next week decide on whether to allow changes to an already-approved housing plan in Teddington.

Planning permission has already been granted for a bungalow on Udney Park Road to be demolished and replaced with a pair of three-bedroom semi-detached homes.

But now Glenwood Homes Ltd has asked Richmond Council for permission to add an extra two bedrooms to each property - on the second floor of both.

Plans would also see new rooflights installed as well as a bathroom in each.

The council's planning committee will next week vote on the application, with a report from council planners recommending permission be approved.

The report said: "The height, scale, bulk and design of the buildings are unchanged from the previous approval.

"The addition of rooflights is considered acceptable in regard to design, street scape and views from Udney Park Playing Fields."
