Following last year's successful tree giveaway, Richmond Council is giving away more free trees to residents, schools, and community groups to plant across the borough.

Richmond Council said: "The free trees can be planted in private gardens or land and are offered free by our specialist tree contractors.

"There are 1,000 free trees to giveaway and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis."

Collection points will be available at Kneller Gardens in February and at Old Deer Park in March.

You can find out how to claim your free tree here.
