A camper van has been stolen in Teddington.

The vehicle was taken on Wednesday morning from Church Road.

The owner of the camper van posted the following message on social media in an effort to find the vehicle:

"It was parked legally near the play park on Church Road, insured, with a valid MOT.

"We live at the end of the road, and due to lock-down we haven't been checking on it as frequently as normal, so the last time it was seen by us was on the evening of 03/01/21.

"A neighbour who lives opposite to where it was parked mentioned that he remembers it being moved some time last week (it's likely to have been stolen one of the days between 04.01 - 09.01).

"The neighbour believes it was moved during daylight hours which would suggest that the thieves are professionals.

"Any information you might have would be extremely helpful. If you know of anyone who has CCTV set up on Church Road please let us know! We have reported to the police, but we're aware that they are busy and may not be able to help us, so we are are being as proactive as possible.

"Whilst our insurance may cushion the blow, they won't be able to compensate for the months of hard work and love we poured into our little home on wheels, so we'll do whatever it takes to get it back!"

Internal features: Converted as a camper-van, including a kitchen with an oven + grill, sink + drainer and fridge under the bed. Accessible from the rear doors is under-bed storage including a custom bike storage drawer.

Registration number (which has probably been changed): KN61 ZXB
