Bushy Park's popular Pheasantry cafe was shut down today (Monday) and will not reopen until a programme of refurbishment is completed at the end of April.

Visitors will still be able to enjoy hot drinks, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and hot savoury snacks from two new kiosks operating outside the closed cafe.

The existing kiosk and seating area at the entrance to the Woodland Garden are working as normal.

Bushy Park's Pheasantry Cafe has closed for refurbishment but park goers will be able to purchase hot drinks and snacks from two nearby kiosks.

A statement from the park read: "The Pheasantry Cafe is closing for refurbishment on 30th January 2023 until late April, we apologise for any inconvenience. A reduced catering offer will be available from a temporary unit near the café building, providing hot food and drinks, baked items and snacks. We look forward to welcoming you back to the café in the spring."

Plenty of signs near The Pheasantry show glossy new images of the cafe, which is operated by Colicci.
