Firefighters tackled a fire involving a motor home on Clarence Road in Teddington at 2:55pm this afternoon.

Most of a motor home and the guttering and fascia of an adjacent derelict building were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

Two gas cylinders were removed as a precaution as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.

The Brigade was called at 1455 and the fire was under control by 1543.

Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Southall and Kingston fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
