BREAKING: Kingston Bridge closed in both directions

The police have closed off Kingston Bridge in both directions.
Currently this is due to a security alert - we will bring you more information as we get it.
Wood Street between John Lewis and The Bentalls Centre is also closed off.
So if you have plans to cross the bridge in the near future it would be wise to alter them.
The 281 bus route through Teddington along with 10 others has been diverted.
