PM Boris Johnson has today announced new Tier Four restrictions for Teddington and the whole of London and the South East.

The heavier restrictions are due to the new strain of the virus that is believed to spread quicker than any previous strain.

These new restrictions include residents staying at home and non-essential retail shutting.

Leisure activities must also cease and work from home where possible.

Residents must also stay in Tier Four areas and only meet one person outside.

Everyone in all tiers should stay local where possible.

Those in tier four areas must not travel abroad.

Christmas plan changes

The Prime Minister has also announced plans to change the Christmas bubble rules.

Previously three households were allowed to bubble between December 23rd and 27th.

Now however the rules are that Tier Four areas must not mix with anyone outside their household or support bubble.

The rest of the country can mix on Christmas Day only.
