It's the day we've all been waiting for - pubs and restaurants are back!

Starting today Monday 12 April, outdoor hospitality venues are allowed to re-open to customers, as are non-essential shops and close contact services like hairdressers and beauty salons.

If you're planning to make the most of Teddington's re-opened hospitality today, bear in mind that groups are limited to six people or two households.

You'll also need to wear a mask when not seated and check in to NHS Test and Trace on arrival at the venue if you're over 16.

To celebrate the return of outdoor pubs and restaurants, we've picked three of favourite al fresco pubs in the local area - and stay tuned for our pick of outdoor restaurants.

The King's Head

Long a favourite with locals, what sets this pub apart is its brand new heated tent which will keep punters warm whatever the weather!

Complete with bunting, outdoor lighting and brightly coloured tables, there's no better place to enjoy a socially distanced pint with friends.

It has the ideal location on 123 High Street and also boasts a brand new spring menu and an extensive wine and cocktail list.

The Anglers

Stunning views of the Lock, extensive outdoor seating and heated booths are the stand-out features of this historic pub on Teddington's riverside.

For walkers it's the ideal place to relax after a stroll along the towpath and the pub itself has a guide to a circular walk taking in landmarks like Ham House and Eel Pie Island.

There's also a new spring menu served daily from 12pm-9pm for customers to enjoy.

The Kings Arms

The pub formerly known as The Clockhouse is back with a new name and exciting new vision for hospitality in Teddington!

Located on Teddington High Street, the Kings Arms has seating for 81 guests including tables of six in its hidden beer garden.

With an extensive range of drinks including its own Kings Arms ale on tap, there's much to offer for the drinks connoisseur.
