We will not be seeing the street parties and special celebrations that were planned for the marking of VE Day next Friday.
But if you are in the mood to personally mark the May 8th to commemorate 75 years since and the end of World War Two you can show your respect and recognition with bunting on your own home.
Many residents, especially in Avenue Gardens, Teddington have used their own home-made bunting to mark birthdays or special celebrations in the street.
