Teddington School has gone back to school in style with a new look inside and out.

Students and staff were welcomed back to class with familiar faces, even if they could not recognise the interior of the building itself.

Not only has the Trust school undergone half a million pounds worth of site work, but it has also updated its uniforms.

Paul Grills, Head Teacher of the School, said: "I must commend our students on how smart they look in their uniforms. The blazers, in addition to the existing uniform, are truly impressive, and our students look very sharp."

The new contemporary grey fit jacket ties the whole uniform nicely together, albeit a flustered addition* with last week's heat wave.

Mr Grills added: "It is evident that everyone has conscientiously upheld our school's standards, and I have received numerous positive comments from the community."

After approximately £500k investment, Teddington School has also curated an aesthetic and practical new look inside its walls.

Starting work in July and finishing before students returned on 5 September, the school has produced new drama studios and refurbished two Design and Technology (DT) rooms.

Adjusting to the 240 students starting Year 7 and an additional 120 students entering Year 12, Teddington has created further canteen seating to accommodate its full roll of 1400+ students.

Reconfiguring the ground floor has enabled the school to supply extra space for students to enjoy.

Teddington School has also produced new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) spaces with offices, meeting rooms, classrooms and work areas. This has been matched with the school's operating inclusion corridor.

Taking advantage of the new design, Teddington School is hosting a series of Open Evenings, morning tours and a live event.
