Speaking about the win, The Builders Arms Manager, Barry Wilson, told Nub News: ""We've only been open again for 16 months, so to be voted the best pub in Teddington means a great deal to us and really reflects the support we've had from the local community. In that short time, the Builders Arms has built a strong group of regulars who give the pub its special atmosphere and sense of belonging, and we're very grateful to them.

"I'd also like to thank our staff, whose hard work helps make the pub a friendly and safe place for everyone."

Other notable mentions were Tide End Cottage with nine votes and The Anglers and The Adelaide both with four votes.
