Arts Richmond invites locals to New Plays Festival

Arts Richmond recently invited playwrights from across the globe to enter a short play competition.

It had 132 entries, and after hours of deliberation, its panel of judges chose the four finalists whose plays will be performed at the Orange Tree in Richmond on Sunday, 18 October at 3 pm.

The Finalists chosen, whose plays will be performed at the Orange Tree, are:

Cold Coffee by James David Knapp
Monster in a Box by Tony Pipes
Get Close by Edward Morgan
The Wedding Gift by Kirsten Beazley

Speaking about the festival, Arts Richmond said: "Please join us for an afternoon of wonderful theatre at the Orange Tree."

Doors will open at 2 pm on Sunday, 18 October, and the performance starts at 3 pm.

Tickets can be purchased at Arts Richmond Events.
