This morning we went up close with MiBODY outdoor fitness in Bushy Park.

The company run outdoor fitness classes for groups and individuals in Bushy Park - but this isn't your traditional 'boot camp'.

Steve Harris runs MiBODY and explained how they work.

He said: "I've tried to create the most professional high quality outdoor exercise that I can.

"There's nothing else like this because we're not just a boot camp but really focus on a number of aspects of fitness."

The past, present and future of MiBODY

Steve has spent much of his working life in fitness and is definitely an expert in the field.

He continued: "I set up the company after leaving my job as a Team GB coach following the Rio Olympics.

"I've been in the army, a world champion in kayaking and have a sports science degree."

While this experience is valuable nothing can prepare you for lockdown.

Steve added: "It was obviously really tough especially not being entitled to furlough.

"I have a young family so the money I had saved from the business was spent on living."

Despite this Steve is optimistic about the future of the business.

He said: "I'm keen to franchise the business and take it to other parks.

"Our members have been coming back since lockdown which is great."

What the classes are like and how much they cost

Steve runs his classes in a very enthusiastic manner constantly motivating and giving advice to the 10-20 people he is supervising.

Each class consists of a variety of different exercises, from squats to core to weights.

MiBODY suits all levels of fitness so whether you're looking to get into fitness for the first time or are an Olympic Champion you're guaranteed to get a good work out in.
