Teddington continues to reopen as IL Preferito is ready top open its doors again tomorrow.

The Italian restaurant on Kingston Road first opened in December and had just seen business pick up before lockdown was announced.

The restaurant serves a whole host of Italian food and is looking to incorporate more British food on its menu soon.

Coronavirus has certainly brought communities closer together and owner Ron De Silva explains that IL Preferito wants to help others out in Teddington.

"We want to offer members of societies in Teddington a discount. I would encourage them to get in contact with us.

"The lockdown was a massive blow for us. It was hard financially but emotionally as well.

"We started off doing takeaways however we had to stop as we could not work safely and did not want to spread the virus."

However now things are looking up for the restaurant with their reopening taking place tomorrow.
