RISING comedy star Luke Kempner, known for his viral impressions of celebrities and TV characters, will be headlining a comedy gig in Teddington this week.

Luke, who grew up in Surrey, rose to fame in the early 2010s with impersonations of sports stars including Tom Daley and Andy Murray, later reaching a wider audience with his one-man Downton Abbey spoof 'The Only Way is Downton.'

Since then he has toured the UK and US and appeared on national TV shows including The Last Leg, ITV's The Imitation Game and Steph's Packed Lunch.

Most recently Luke has appeared as a voice artist on the revival of political puppet satire Spitting Image and was also part of the 2018 Royal Variety Show.

This week the father-of-one will be appearing at The Landmark Arts Centre, the Teddington venue and Nub News sponsor, for an evening of comedy.

Luke will be joined by fellow comics Bella Hull and Jacob Hawley in the night co-organised by talent agency Avalon.

The show takes place on Thursday 9 December and tickets are £15, £13 for Landmark members or group bookings of 10+ (per person).
