Look out for a Red Arrows flypast over Teddington on Thursday

The RAF's world-famous Red Arrows is expected join forces with its French counterparts in the French Air Force for a celebration flypast over London to commemorate the 80th anniversary of General Charles de Gaulle's appeal for French resistance.
On Thursday afternoon, both the RAF and the French Air Force are planning a special flypast of 18 aircraft over Heathrow and will be seen from Teddington and Richmond. However, this event still has to be officially confirmed and may be impacted by weather conditions.
The event will commemorate the 80th anniversary of General Charles de Gaulle's appeal for French resistance. The fly-past would coincide with French president Emmanuel Macron's visit to the UK for face-to-face meetings with the Prince of Wales and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
According to European Airshows, both countries will send their national display teams, the Red Arrows from the RAF and the Patrouille de France which will join up to perform this special flypast.
The provisional timetable is:
1641 – departure from RAF Brize Norton
1656 – Flypast Bagshot1658 – Flypast Richmond Park
1700 – Flypast Buckingham Palace1702 – Formation Separation NE Brentwood/ Stapleford area after which the Red Arrows will return to RAF Scampton and the Patrouille de France back to Salon-de-Provence Air Base
The Patrouille de France is expected to land at RAF Brize Norton.
