Head of IT/Associate Director of Global IT required for a growing international organisation. You will need to be an experienced and hands-on technology leader with expertise in regulated environments, clinical research technologies, cybersecurity and digital transformation.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation's global technology direction while remaining actively Embedded in day-to-day delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who is equally comfortable setting direction as they are rolling up their sleeves to solve problems, drive execution, and ensure outcomes are delivered. We are looking for a proactive, high-energy leader who can translate strategy into action, remove blockers, and work closely with teams to deliver tangible, measurable business results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading global IT operations and service delivery
• Developing and executing IT strategy and technology roadmaps
• Driving digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Overseeing cybersecurity, data protection and business continuity
• Managing computer system validation and regulatory compliance
• Supporting CTMS, EDC and eTMF platforms
• Managing IT budgets, suppliers and technology partners
• Building and developing a high-performing international IT team

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• 10+ years' senior IT leadership experience
• 5+ years in a global leadership position
• Experience operating within GxP-regulated environments.
• Experience within clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similar regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure and service operations
• Experience with GDPR, HIPAA and information security/governance frameworks
• Proven success delivering technology change and measurable business outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder, leadership and vendor management skills
