CAFM Platform Engineer

In this role you'll get full remote flexibility, only needing to attend one on-site meeting per month. If you'd prefer to spend more time in the office that's fine too, giving you the control over your time while still staying connected with the team.

You'll take ownership of the CAFM system, shaping it with your ideas and expertise. You'll build close relationships with software vendors, giving you access to advanced knowledge and influence over product development.

There's also the chance to train and mentor others, sharing your skills and further establishing yourself as a subject matter expert.

What you'll do

  • You'll manage the setup, configuration and documentation of the CAFM system, ensuring it meets the needs of the business. You'll support mobilisation and demobilisation activities, keeping everything running smoothly.
  • Working with IT Business Partners, you'll help analyse requirements and provide technical specifications for changes. You'll also offer consultancy on areas like work order management, scheduling and reporting.
  • You'll handle patches and upgrades, delivering them safely through the change process. You'll also maintain test scripts and support testing for both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Monitoring key processes, you'll ensure the system remains fully operational, with successful backups and prompt resolution of any issues.

What you'll need

  • Experience delivering application support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems, preferably within facilities management
  • At least 2 years' experience with MRI Evolution
