The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism (ASC/ASD), SEMH, PMLD and SLD
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access learning
- Work alongside teachers and specialists to create an engaging, inclusive environment
- Encourage independence, confidence and progress in every child
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, care or voluntary roles all considered)
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs
- Resilience, patience and strong communication skills
- Graduates considering teaching are highly encouraged to apply
- No formal TA qualifications required - full support and training available
