This People Advisor role provides expert guidance on employee relations, supporting managers and staff across multiple sites. You'll manage ER cases end-to-end, offer HR advice, and ensure high-quality documentation and compliance.

Description
- Serve as first point of contact for employee relations queries
- Manage ER cases end-to-end, including absences, grievances, and disciplinaries
- Provide guidance to managers on HR processes and best practice
- Ensure accurate, structured meeting notes and case documentation
- Liaise with Occupational Health and other stakeholders as required
- Support implementation of HR policies and identify trends for improvement
- Advise on staff training needs and provide informal coaching for managers
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports in line with GDPR
- Contribute to positive workplace culture and staff engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with wider HR team to support employee experience projects
- Promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding standards across sites
Profile
A successful People Advisor should have:
- Minimum 2 years' HR/employee relations experience
- Experience managing multiple ER cases simultaneously
- Working in a high volume organisation
- CIPD Level 5
- Strong knowledge of employment law, absence, grievance, and disciplinary processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident drafting formal letters and documenting outcomes
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and enjoys problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with open-minded approach
- Committed to continuous professional development in HR
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems
- Understanding of GDPR, equality, diversity, and safeguarding
