The Position: Key Part of Early Years CareThis full-time position is a key part of the school's wrap-around care. Shifts will run from approximately 9:00 AM and include evening cover finishing every evening at 6:00 PM. As a vital member of the nursery team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality daily care and supervision for young children, assisting the Nursery Teacher and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Your Core Responsibilities: Dedicated Childcare SupportAssist the Nursery Teacher with engaging and educational activities across the early years curriculum.
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment is maintained for all children at all times.
Support daily routines effectively, including mealtimes, sleep periods, and personal care.
Communicate effectively and professionally with pupils, parents, and fellow staff members.
Contribute to tracking and recording children's development and progress.
Must hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g., Diploma in Childcare and Education, Diploma for Early Years Educators).
Prior experience working in an early years or nursery setting is essential.
Possess a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Demonstrate patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.
Maintain a proactive and team-oriented approach to your work and duties.
Competitive Daily Rate ranging from 95 - 115 (depending on experience).
Consistent full-time work with a long-term contract and a view to becoming permanent.
