Tradewind Recruitment are working with a lovely boys School in Kingston who are looking for an expereinced DT Teacher to start in January 2026.

There is a chance of permanent contract from July 2026 and the role will pay between 37,870 and 52,219 per annum.

  • Deliver tailored Design Technology lessons teaching and guiding students through various written and practical lessons.
  • Support students' artistic development by fostering their creativity, Food Tec skills, and critical thinking abilities through diverse practical exercises.
  • Encourage lifelong learning by nurturing students' love for Design and Food Tec and developing their ability to express themselves through their art.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that motivates students to reach their full potential, both subject related and personally.
  • Embrace the ethos of the school, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic learning community where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A relevant degree
  • Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Approachable and encouraging
