This is a dual-role position requiring flexibility to work both as a Traffic Marshal, managing vehicle movements on site, and as a Labourer, assisting with general site duties when traffic management is not required. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely direct and guide vehicles, deliveries, and heavy plant on and around site.

  • Manage and maintain safe access routes for pedestrians and vehicles.

  • Support site teams with general labouring duties, such as loading/unloading materials, keeping the site tidy, and assisting trades.

  • Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site supervisors.

  • Follow all site health and safety procedures and ensure PPE is worn at all times.

  • Report any site hazards or unsafe practices immediately to the Site Manager.

Requirements:

  • Valid Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman certificate (Essential).

  • Valid CSCS card (Essential).

  • Previous experience in a Traffic Marshal or Labouring role on a construction site.

  • Good understanding of site safety and communication protocols.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.

  • Own PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots, gloves).
