Job Title: Setting Out Engineer Groundworks & RC Frame

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our project team on a 120-bed care home development. The role involves overseeing groundworks and RC frame packages, ensuring accurate setting out, quality assurance, and smooth delivery of works on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, and RC frame structures.

• Carrying out site surveys and maintaining accurate records.

• Working closely with site management, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design drawings and specifications.

• Conducting quality checks and resolving technical queries.

• Maintaining strict health & safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on groundworks and RC frame projects.

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (preferred).

• Proficiency with total station, GPS, and AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and quality control.

• Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
