We're recruiting for an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established building services contractor based in Spelthorne, Surrey. This role offers structured career growth, a strong team culture, and the chance to be a key player in delivering detailed, cost-effective proposals for a wide range of HVAC projects.
The successful Mechanical Estimator will be:
- Sending enquiries and obtaining quotes from suppliers/subcontractors
- Reviewing and interpreting BOQs and mechanical drawings
- Producing accurate costings and maintaining tender review documents
- Organising and managing tender documentation
- Working from the office with the option of 1 day of WFH per week
- Package: The Mechanical Estimator will be paid up to £40,000, depending on experience + Career Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Pension.
To qualify for this role as a Mechanical Estimator, you'll need:
- Proven experience in mechanical estimating (HVAC or FM)
- Strong technical knowledge of chillers and mechanical plant
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to understand and price from BOQs and drawings
- Experience transitioning from hands-on engineering is a advantageous
