This gives us an opportunity to bring in new trustees with fresh ideas and different viewpoints who can help us build the Elleray Centre into a flourishing community resource while maintaining and expanding our Social Club's charitable mission to relieve isolation and loneliness among local adult residents."
As a trustee and director, you will help shape ECA's strategy to develop the charity's work in responding to local social needs and to exploit the opportunities to establish The Elleray Centre as an important resource for the entire local community.
As well as attending ECA's two monthly Trustee Meetings, it would hope that you would play a part in one or more of its working groups dealing with such matters as fundraising, organising events, community engagement, finance and marketing.
ECA's new Trustee Secretary would carry out the usual secretarial duties.
