Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service in Teddington

Where

Start Royal British Legion: 10:15, walking down High St to C

When

14 Nov 2021

UNTIL Sunday 14 November

The Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service will go ahead as normal this year. And it will have a special poignancy as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion and the wonderful work they do in supporting veterans.

The procession will start outside the Royal British Legion (at the junction of Kingston Lane and Teddington High Street) at 10.15am and proceed up the High Street and Broad Street to the Cenotaph outside Teddington Memorial Hospital. There will then be a Service of Remembrance at 10.50am. This will be led by Rev. Joe Moffatt, Chaplain to the RBL in Teddington, alongside other local clergy. Local dignitaries and representatives will lay wreaths on behalf of many local organisations. The Salvation Army band will accompany the hymns and the Last Post will be played by a Bugler from the Sea Cadets.

All are welcome to follow the procession, line the streets or join us outside the Hospital where there will be a road closure for the duration of the Service.

For those that cannot join us, the service will also be livestreamed: HERE
