Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank is a voluntary supported charity, deeply committed to providing comprehensive services for individuals in crisis in the local community.

Our life-changing services include:

  • Crisis Drop-in and Care Services (Daily)
  • Community Nursing Clinic (Daily)
  • Richmond Foodbank (Seven per Week)
  • Cost-of-Living Crisis Response Services (Flexible)
  • Refugee Support Hub (One per Week)
  • Vineyard Charity Shops (Daily)
  • Vineyard Studio (Flexible)

Established in 2011 and founded on the principles of compassion and community support, the charity offers a lifeline to homeless and vulnerable people, those affected by the cost-of-living crisis, local refugees, and individuals experiencing food (and other forms of) poverty.

Our daily Crisis Drop-in, building on a long heritage of support services in our centre since the seventies, is a space where homeless and destitute individuals can access essential services such as food, support work, shelter, physical and mental healthcare, showers, job opportunities and so forth. This service reflects the charity's commitment to immediate crisis intervention and its dedication to the principle that everyone should be able to access basic human needs and hope for their future.

Richmond Foodbank, another key service, operates across six sites in the Borough of Richmond: Richmond, Fulwell, Mortlake, Barnes, Whitton, Hampton. As part of the Trussell Trust network, the foodbank provides emergency food and support work to local people in crisis. This service is a vital response to the growing issue of food poverty in the local community

Recognising the need for specialised support for women in crisis, the charity has now expanded upon its tradition supporting local vulnerable women to deliver the new weekly Richmond Women's Hub. This is a new partnership-based project that provides a safe, nurturing community space for women and plays a crucial role in the charity's holistic approach to support.

In all its work, Vineyard Community & Richmond Foodbank strives to work towards whole-life stability for those it serves, standing as a beacon of hope and support in the community.
