Tables and Chairs make a welcome return in Bushy Park

The tables and chairs, which had been missing from The Pheasantry Café in Bushy Park during lockdown, made a welcome return early today as Teddington moved back into Tier 2.

Outside wooden tables and benches were also available again as early visitors were able to sit down and enjoy their coffee rather than perch on convenient fallen logs or seek out the limited number of park benches.

Social distancing rules remain in place and visitor must wear a face covering or mask if they order their drinks and food from inside the café area rather than the outside kiosk.

The wooden table and chair area outside the kiosk remains fenced off.

The toilets are open and the Bushy Park Visitor Centre will reopen tomorrow (Thursday December 3) at 10.30am.

Throughout lockdown traffic in the park has been a huge issue.

With the opening up of other sectors there is hope that this traffic could be reduced.
