Harlequins legend Chris Robshaw has lost out on the chance to play one final game at Twickenham stadium.

He was due to turn out for The Barbarians against England at Twickenham this weekend.

However 12 Barbarians players breached COVID regulations after going out for dinner on Wednesday night - outside of their hotel bubble.

Robshaw was one of these players and as a result the side will no longer be able to field a team.

It is understood that the RFU has already begun looking into the breach with a view to summoning anyone at fault before an independent disciplinary panel under the catch-all charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

England are actually staying in Teddington currently - at The Lensbury while The Barbarians were based in central London

Robshaw left Harlequins at the conclusion of the season and will see out his career at San Diego.

The game at Twickenham was originally set to be played in front of fans but those plans were cancelled due to rising infection rates.
