Teddington's young artists have just four days left to create an artwork of their house or flat and be in with the chance of winning a prize.

The Teddington Society is encouraging children who live in the area to enter their first ever Easter art competition which closes on Friday 23 April.

The competition has three categories - under-7s, 7-11s and over-11s - and the three winners will all receive vouchers and have their work displayed in local shops.

All that budding Picassos have to do is paint or draw the outside of their home in Teddington, using any medium they wish.

"Paint, crayon, pencil, ink, even a collage – let your imagination flow!" said competition organiser Jenny Michell.

The creation can be any size up to A4 and should have the child's name, age, address, telephone number and a parent's or guardian's email address on the back.

It should then be delivered to 65 Kingston Lane by the end of the week, after which the winners will be decided.
